Great Days for DVD's

COMING to DVD soon:

An often overlooked yet highly entertaining children's show from 1975...The Ghost Busters.
Not to be confused with the movie that followed a decade later, this one featured Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker, and Bob Burns.

I had the opportunity to meet Bob Burns a few years ago...he played Tracy the Gorilla and is quite the science fiction and horror film historian.
He is also one of the coolest people I've ever met.
Granted, like most shows that I liked in my childhood, this one is goofy and slapstick. I
The DVD's are coming out April 17th.
I have to admit to having a lot of DVD's of children shows from my youth. I have the complete "Land of the Lost" series and most of the George Reeves "Adventures of Superman." Mrs. Monkeyboy gave me some "Sigmund and the SeaMonsters" and "H.R. Pufnstuff." I still need some "Superfriends," "Shazam" and Bugs Bunny's.
You see I remember the days when there were real cartoons and kid shows on Saturday morning. They didn't have to be educational or politically correct back then...and I came out okay...didn't I????
Okay, so I like to get up early on Saturday mornings and put in my own kid shows...I'd eat Cocoa-Krispies if they didn't give me the jitters. I'd even wear my P-J's if I could get some Underoos in my size.
